Payroll Coordinator

Reporting to “Associate Director of Finance”, the successful candidate will be responsible for  managing employee payroll, and processing the account payable


Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the payroll manager as well as employees
  • Manage the payroll for 190 employees using ADP
  • Prepare & distribute tax forms (W2, 1099)
  • Maintain employee timesheets and time off accruals
  • Train new staff on internal timesheet keeping system
  • Prepare & process accounts payable
  • Maintain records and manage the annual pension audit  
  • Reconcile, verify and pay invoices
  • Prepare 403(b) data for transmittal to provider
  • Assist with year-end audit and special projects when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll & A/P
  • Proficient experience with ADP
  • Experience with Dynamics GP & Concur systems is preferred
