Human Resources Generalist

Reporting to “Human Resources Sr. Director”, the successful candidate will be responsible for  staffing, recruitment, compensation, HR policies, performance management, training and development, and general administrative responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Communicate & monitor adherence to human resources policies & procedures
  • Promote a positive workplace & professional working relationship
  • Manage the company’s compensation program
  • Manage employee benefit plans, enrollment, conversion of benefits, and termination
  • Identify legal requirements & government reporting regulations related to HR
  • Prepare information required for compliance
  • Process all invoices for employee benefits
  • Manage annual performance reviews & employees service recognition program
  • Coordinate training programs for staff development & for employee growth relations
  • Collaborate with the Planning Committee to provide social activities for staff
  • Facilitate fund raising opportunities, holiday and other related events
  • Protect employee interests in accordance with HR policies and regulations
  • Maintain the HRIS and necessary compliance procedures
  • Coordinate the onboarding process  
  • Manage internal and external job postings
  • Conduct background checks and orientation for newly hired employees
  • Administer employee recognition program(s) and organizational chart


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of generalist experience within Human Resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, written, verbal and communication skills
