On behalf of our client, an International high end furniture design company , In Job New York is looking for a

Customer Service Specialist  (Full-Time)

Directly reporting to the NYC Retail Director and in dotted line to the Customer Service Manager, the successful candidate based in New York City will be in charge of managing the assigned customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Quickly build a deep knowledge of the products portfolio
  • Provide first level response to customers in timely manner
  • Set up and maintain customer information into the system
  • Manage customer portfolio: update sales order, schedule management, delivery creation
  • Enter orders in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable contract
  • Ensures goods are shipped in accordance with applicable shipping procedure
  • Manage claims, credit notes, returns in accordance with the related procedures
  • Assist with showroom transfers and inventory
  • Manage sample inventory and distribution
  • Meet and greet customers that come into the Showroom
  • Support sales team in executing sales efforts in a professional manner



  • 3/5 years of experience in Customer Service area;
  • Previous experience in the Furniture Industry or in the Retail business will be a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of NAVISION a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
