In Job Milan is looking for a

JUNIOR AREA MANAGER for South of France

The successful candidate will join the Sales Department and he/she will report to the local Country Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Cover the territory by acquiring new accounts and managing the existing ones
  • Follow and apply the Sales Strategy defined by the Country Manager
  • Use regularly the CRM in order to plan the activities and report the visits
  • Monitor the customer’s credits and contribute in defining their credit limit
  • Proactive screening of new dealers, vendors, distributors, networking with local contacts and business players
  • Visit the existing customers on a regular basis and search for new prospects
  • Convey to the customers the corporate values of loyalty, honesty and efficiency
  • Maintain and develop relationships with influencers
  • Inform the customers on the current product range and stock availability
  • Take active part in solving conflicts with our customers


  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales
  • Education: technical background. Graduation in engineering could be preferable
  • Basic understanding of technical drawing
  • Winning mentality, focusing on achieving budget and gross margin goals
  • Must apply a consultative sales approach when developing and customizing solutions
  • Ability to deal with different contact offices (mostly engineering and purchasing department) and to adapt to multiple field of application Territory Coverage (acquired/potential customers)
  • Ability to promote a wide product mix & to support the development of new projects
  • Problem Solving attitude
  • Ambitious to achieve his/her targets and win new customers
  • Flexibility as this role requires a high percentage of traveling
  • Previous working experiences in the field of industrial automation/production or distribution of electrical components would be preferable
  • A good English (spoken/written) would be preferable
