Marketing Manager and Sales.

The position reports to the Business Director, The Ecommerce Marketing Manager and Sales role is a position where there is a significant interaction with business Directors & Senior Management across the business and is best suited to a candidate who is commercially savvy, and sales driven. An extensive level of knowledge about Ecommerce sales and marketing is essential.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver focused content marketing plans, which drive customer acquisition, retention and revenue through content, social channels and sales collateral.
  • Assist in developing brand objections, identity, value proposition and tone of voice guidelines. Ensure these are reflected and delivered upon across all touch points, through creative and content.
  • Enable brand delivery across multiple channels and touch points, including PR, content social events, sponsorship, partnerships, and sales communications.
  • Maintain content standards and deliver compelling and catchy copywriting.
  • Maintain a strong focus on the customer, market and competitive environment.
  • Lead on all CRM marketing projects and ensure the wider team are made aware of all necessary information.
  • Set and achieve realistic engagement KPIs in conjunction with the company BD and the wider business needs.
  • A strong understanding of CRM and relevant E-shot projects.
  • A good command of SEO basics.
  • Excellent photography skills and ability to utilise fully.
  • Proven experience of successful budget management.
  • Managing relationships and delivery with external suppliers and partners Inc. networking events which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Manage the ecommerce customer service team and provide support.
  • Ensuring product, customer and sales data is of an exceptional standard to use for maximum sales, reporting and conversions.

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of managing websites and online sales/ecommerce. (Essential)
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with and driving sales in ecommerce. (Essential)
  • Italian Speaker (Essential)
  • Good knowledge of Google analytics and AdWords
  • Experience of email campaigns (Mailchimp or similar)
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as own initiative.
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as own initiative.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think commercially.
  • Knowledge of SEO & PPC, ability to do analytical reports and make suggestions based on data.
  • Experience of running ecommerce loyalty programs.
  • Fantastic communication skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box, present & implement initiatives to drive online sales with maximum profit.
  • A proactive work ethic and can-do attitude.
